Map 2D Pan Functions
The Pan function makes it possible to move the Map 2D to get the map view of your preference.
A single pan moves the map center but will not change the map zoom or rotation.
Pan via Click and Drag on Map
Free pan function on map :
- Click and Drag to move the Map
- Single click on the Map to center the view to the clicked location
- Pan function + <Ctrl> will behave as Zoom Smart.
MapCanvas > Map 2D > Navigation menu > Pan
MapCanvas > Map 2D > Compass Rose > Central Hand
Pan via Compass Rose
Pan in fixed direction by using one of the four direction arrows of the Compass Rose. The current map view will shift by 1/4.
MapCanvas > Map 2D > Compass Rose > Direction Arrow
Pan via Map Context Menu
Center map view via the Map 2D right click Map Context Menu to the clicked location
MapCanvas > Map 2D > Map Context Menu > Pan Here
Pan via Zoom Smart function
Free pan function on map using Zoom Smart + <Ctrl>
