Import data from earthmine webservice
It is strongly recommended to read first the general information about mobile mapping data in Orbit :
After completing the import the run will be available for the administrator to open or add to a mobile mapping projects.
earthmine Account
Orbit supports the earthmmine Web-service. The earthmine panoramas and point cloud services can be used like other Mobile Mapping resources.
One must have an api and key from earthmine to get access to the earthmine services.
Orbit provides a dedicated import wizard to establish the connection and to enter the credentials.
Import Run
Open the procedure “Import Run”
Procedures > Administration > Mobile Mapping > Import Run
The import procedure consists out of 2 consecutive wizards :
- Create a new Orbit Run
- Import data according the selected template
The available steps in the second wizard depend on the selected import template / the type of mobile mapping data you are using.
