Asset Inventory Items
This goal of this exercise is to show to the user how to manage asset inventory items within themes in Orbit. The user will be able to add, edit, remove and verify items, as well as understand the differences between “add inventory item” and “add inventory item simplified”.

Exercise
Part 1
Extract objects using “Add Inventory Item”, complete attributes, manage screenshots and add documents, explore Asset Inventory Tab
- Go to “Procedures”> “Asset Inventory” > “Add Inventory Item”.
- Extract one pole in the “toronto_point_theme”, using the “Point drop to horizontal reference plane” tool.
- Fill in the attributes.
- Add a new snapshot to the automatically created one.
- Attach a document to the extracted object.
- Check the if the modifications were successful by exploring the Asset Inventory Tab.
Part 2
Extract objects using “Add Inventory Simplified”
- Extract a new pole in the same theme (“toronto_point_theme”) using the “Add inventory simplified” procedure.
Part 3
Edit and verify Asset Inventory items
- Edit one inventory item from the theme “optech_toronto_poles”.
- Verify the correctness of the objects in the theme “optech_toronto_poles”, by accepting or rejecting them.
- Check the attribute table of the theme.
