Viewer and View Settings

This page documents the 3DM Viewer Settings.
3DM Viewer > Sidebar > Settings Icon

Concept

The Settings Browser allows the user to make changes to the behaviour of the Viewer, Sidebars, Views and View Gestures. The goal is to allow the user to configure the workspace to his liking, while keeping the Viewer UI as simple as possible.

View Action Menu

This menu is not available in a Publication, because it makes structural changes to how a publication can be used, which is not something an end-user should be doing.

Allows you to set the availability of actions in the View Action Menu.

  • Move View
  • View Metadata
  • Image Play-Through
  • Photo Navigation By Sequence
  • Photo Navigation By Relevance
  • Rotate in Photo Group

Quick Settings

This menu is not available in a Publication, because it makes structural changes to how a publication can be used, which is not something an end-user should be doing.

The Quick settings panel is available from the sidebar, and can have up to 5 Toggle Settings.

Quick settings can be useful because :

  • A setting is frequently used
  • A setting is useful to the user, but the user does not have access to the full Settings panel. This can occur when preparing a publication.
