Accessing local resources

See the resource browser : local file system.
You can add a file of various storage formats to view in Orbit GIS. Browse you computer local and network folders dynamically. You can enter a URL or UNC to access remote filesystems.

Accessing EOS corporate resources

See the resource browser : eos corporate resource.
In networked and corporate environments, the EOS Registry provides a central address to access resources located anywhere on the corporate network. You can access files on drives you technically have no access to, or to remotely stored data in relational databases without having a connection to that database.

To add an EOS registry resource, you require the presence of the EOS system.

Accessing web resources

See the resource browser : web resource.
Orbit can dynamically and directly access EOS Web resources. To add a web resource to your view, you can connect to any remote EOS system.
