If Orbit is able to connect to Access database you did installed the correct version according to your available ODBC driver.
This is visible if all resources are correctly loaded.

Orbit Asset Inventory Managements uses a database for saving all inventory items. Since Orbit is developed in Java connection to all Java supported databases are possible, ie all common databases.
For the trial download we use a Access database. Not because it is the best one, but because we can bundle this database within the Orbit AIM installer.
To be able to connect to Access-database Windows provides a ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) driver for Access.
The availability of an ODBC drivers on Windows is very confusing!
Windows has different ODBC drivers for 64bit and 32bit!
It is not so easy to install both drivers 32bit and 64bit on the same computer
Check the installed ODBC driver using ODBC Data Source Administrator
