Obliques Component

Oblique Photo View Toolbar

The toolbar contains the following functions:

Maximize view
Maximizes the view for a better visualization.


Make Snapshot
Click the obliques snapshot icon to copy the currently displayed image to a pop-up browser window.
Via the settings its possible to include the visible overlays (vector overlays and measurements) on snapshots.


Information and Metadata
Click the obliques information icon to open the obliques and object metadata window. The displayed metadata can be copied to the clipboard.

  • Object attribute values : the attribute values of the selected vector overlay object can be viewed in the metadata window.
  • Obliques metadata :
    • NWSE: Click to change the metadata of all four directions for the current location.
    • Publication, project, run, photo id : data identifiers as defined and organized by the administrator
    • Photo Size : amount of pixels of the photo
    • X,Y,Z : Recording coordinates displayed in the publication coordinate system
    • CRS : EPSG code of your publication, set by the administrator and used for map display, xy search on map and xyz point measure results.
    • Pan, Tilt, Roll and Field Of View: Displayed in decimal degrees (plus and minus).
    • Image Orientation: Image orientation in degrees starting from flight direction.

Follow Focus

  • Follow Focus : Toggle on the follow focus button to follow focus by:
  • Clicking on map: The current oblique viewers will focus to the focussed position on the map.
  • Clicking on oblique: The current oblique viewers and the map will focus to the focussed position.
  • Moving the cursor on map: A red cross will display the focussed position on the current oblique viewers.
  • Moving the cursor on oblique: A red cross will display the focussed positions on the other oblique viewers and on the map.

Follow Zoom

  • Follow Zoom : Toggle on the follow zoom button to follow zoom by:
  • Scrolling on map: The current oblique viewers will zoom in using the same scale rate.
  • Scrolling on oblique: The current oblique viewers will zoom in using the same scale rate.
  • Show Footprints : The footprints of the current oblique images will be displayed on the map component.
  • Keep North Up : Display all current obliques in Norht direction.


Open Measure Window
Using the measure icon Obliques measure window can be opened.
Only some measuring functions are available in the viewer.Read more about oblique measurements, measure.


Categories
Manage the availability (and visibility) of the categories in the publication.

  • Use : Disabled categories will be invisible, it is not possible to open an image from a disabled category.
  • Color : The category color is set by the administrator and cannot be changed.

The categories, their color and start-up availability are managed by the administrator. It is up to the administrator to organize the data logically (a category can be : by year, by project, by data provider, by data type, …).


Open Settings Window
Publication user preferences :

  • Map Position: Change the position of the map component pertaining to the oblique viewer(s).
  • Viewer Selection : Choose which oblique(s) in which direction(s) you wish to display in the oblique component.
  • Arrange Viewers : Define the arrangement of the oblique viewers within the oblique component.
  • Show footprints : display/hide footprints
  • Show Hover Marker : display:hide hover marker
  • Keep North Up : always display images facing north
  • Unit : choose the measurement unit

Version :

  • In the left lower corner of the settings panel the WebClient version is indicated.
  • Hover above the version label with the mouse pointer to review the date and the method of rendering “Using hardware rendering” or “Using software rendering”. More information : Graphic cards availability
