- DefaultSymbols : libraries containing vector symbols for which outline and/or fill clor can be set.
- OGX_Abstracts : library containing image symbols.
Create your own Orbit symbol library
Bundle all symbol files in a zip file and rename the .zip to .osl. Copy the .osl file to the Orbit symbol directory and restart Orbit :
- Place all symbols in one folder
- Select all symbols (not the directory!), right click and sent to compressed (zipped) folder.
All symbols should be in the root of the zip file, a symbol library will not list symbols that are placed in a sub folders. - Change the file extension from .zip to .osl
- Copy the .osl file to the Orbit symbols directory : <Orbit installation directory>/program/symbols
- Restart Orbit
The Symbol Library name is the name of the .osl file without file extension.
The Symbol name is the name of the symbol file without file extension as available in the symbol library file.
