Open Mobile Mapping View from Map
This page describes how to open one or more mobile mapping views from the Map.
Tabs > Mobile Mapping > Top Toolbar > Open View
The “Open View” button from the Mobile Mapping top toolbar activates the map function to open one or more mobile mapping views by click or click-and-drag on the map. It is one button, but it can be used in different ways to open directly the view you want. Its behavior depends on (1) the combination of available mobile mapping resources (panorama, planar, point cloud) and on (2) the availability (opened, not opened) and mode (use point cloud, triangulation) of the mobile mapping measure window or asset inventory / extract feature procedure.
If the map function to open a mobile mapping view is active, the “Place Point” indicator is displayed in the map status bar and the mouse pointer appears as 'Cross' when hovering above the map.

Close a mobile mapping view
To close a single mobile mapping view hover above and click on its reference number in the mobile mapping view side toolbar.
Close all views via the according “Close all” button in the mobile mapping view top toolbar.
