General information : Project, Data, Software and Hardware

General

  • Data : 12,700,000 panoramic images
  • Projects : 1,335 projects (max. 10,000 images/project)
  • Objects to be registered: car license plates & faces of persons
  • Software : Orbit desktop with “Blur Registration” extension

Project

The aim of the project is to register all car license plates and faces of persons on the panoramic imagery.

The registration happens in the “Orbit software with Blur registration extension” using a very fast registration procedure. No zoom and pan is needed, just single clicks to register areas. This fast procedure can easily take 1200 (up to 1800) registered images per hour.
All information : How to use the "Orbit Blur Registration" tool.

There are some basic rules to identify the objects to be registered. Not every visible license plate or face must be registered, only those that are close enough.

Once an image has been opened it is automatically flagged as inspected. For every single image an xml file is automatically created and updated within the project data folder (next to the imagery). For each project the xml files grouped by the project id subfolder need to be zipped and uploaded to our ftp. This zip should not contain any other files or other folders.

All data will be send by external disks to your offices.
