AI-Detection: 2D Object Detection (Manholes)

This page is about AI-Detection jobs. It describes how to leverage an AI-Detector to automatically detect object (regular 2D-boxes) in JPG images.

• Log-in Bentley IMS and Accept.

• Set in Extract > AI-Detection.

• Choose a Mapping Resource on-boarding JPG images in original folder (planars or panoramas)

• Set the Detector parameters on Image / 2D Objects and choose appropriate AI-Detector from AI-Library (if no AI-Detector available, please refer to AI-Library: Get access to AI-Detectors)

• Press Start Now

• Results must then be imported.

  If targeting 3D-assets, objects need to be reprojected on the pointcloud and clustered.
  Set in Extract / Image Annotations to Objects
  Define parameters and Start Now. This will reproject all object instances on OPC pointcloud.
  Set in Tools / Cluster Objects.
  Define parameters and Start Now. This will group all neighbor objects in a single item.
