How-To Import a Run/Project
This page describes a workflow on how to create a new Run/Project into Orbit, using links to our Knowledge Base.
Concept
Import Run/Project is the procedure to follow when a new Run needs to be created.
Creating a Run is used in the context of Mobile Mapping and UAS Mapping.
Import Project is used in the context of Oblique Mapping.
The Import Run/Project procedure is the same in all Orbit Products and is located in the Left Lower Corner by clicking on Procedures.
There is one exception: In the 3DM Cloud Upload Tool, procedures are opened by clicking on the Import button at the upper left corner after signing into your 3D Mapping Cloud account.

Workflow
Prior to import, data needs to be properly prepared following a pre-defined Orbit import Template. Contact customer.success @ orbitgt dot com if no template is available for your dataset.
