Navigate Pointcloud

Point Cloud view on Mobile Mapping tab The aim of this exercise is to show the user how to visualize, navigate and change the presentation of the point cloud. The user will be able to navigate in 3D view and modify its presentation using the Mobile Mapping sidebar options.

Manage Orbit Runs and Projects

• BE Ghent/MMS Orbit Runs

Open the 3D Pointcloud View, navigate and change presentation of the pointcloud.

1. Open run
   BE Gent by Topcon.
2. Open 3D Point Cloud View
   Click and drag on the Map 2D, a 3D Pointcloud View will open
3. Navigate
   Move through the point cloud.
4. Change the presentation of the point cloud
   Display points by reflection, with pixel size 2.
5. Open panoramic image
   Open a panoramic image from the 3D Pointcloud View.
6. Overlay pointcloud
   Toggle between showing/not showing the pointcloud superimposed on the image.
7. Change the presentation of the point cloud
   Only display points that are in 2 seconds from the current open panoramic image.
