Workspace Sidebar

This page explains the Workspace sidebar of the HTML5 Viewer and how to use it.

Concepts

The Workspace Sidebar allows to switch between different Layouts and add backdrops.

Arrange Views

Views can be arranged horizontally, vertically, or tiled.

Place Reference View

The Reference View can be added and positioned in the Workspace according to your preferences.

Set Backdrop for 3D View

The 3D Backdrops are designed for aesthetic purposes. A bright blue sky on the horizon speaks more to the imagination than a flat dark background, certainly when creating a point cloud fly-through movie.

Choose one of the listed backdrop images from the list. The selected image will be highlighted with a frame. The chosen backdrop will be applied to all open views in 3D View Mode.
