This video is about creating a new vector layer in which measurements can be saved (the vector layer includes attributes with different rules).

• There is no need to create a vector layer prior to making a measurement. Although there is a need for a vector layer if the measurement needs to be saved.

1. Create new vector dataset Trees with Preset configurations
   • Set CRS
   • By default, an attribute table is generated and preconfigured with formulas.
   • Optional : add new attributes
2. Save the vector dataset
3. Review the Structures and the attribute table > Dataset Properties Window
