Image Annotation Editor

This page describes how to use the extension “Image Annotation Editor”.

Main Toolbar > Extract > Image Annotation Editor

The “Image Annotation editor” extension makes it possible to add, delete and edit 2D image annotations.

Image annotations are objects associated with images that store information.

Image annotations can be added manually or be a result of a detection job.

Use dropdown list to select which mapping resource to edit.

• Use Image Annotations preferences to edit the visualization of annotations in images.
• Use Annotation Classes to create or import a list of classes to be labeled.
  

Select the image to edit annotations by double-click.

Choose most suited annotation type depending on your workflow:

• 2D Objects for individual discrete assets fitting regular box
• 2D Segmentations for irregular shapes or spanning on large areas

Use this action buttons to add new, edit, remove, or export image annotations.

If annotating images to serve AI-Detector creation, make sure to Open Procedure once labeling is complete to move on to next-step: AI-Training .
