Install & Configure ContextInsights 20.1 for Orbit

System
Specific system requirements for ContextInsights
Operating System: Windows 8, 8.1, 10, and Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019
Memory: 8Gb RAM
Graphic Card: NVIDIA Graphics Card > 4.0Gb and up-to-date driver
Software
Installation
Installation of ContextInsights and its dependencies on top of the installation of Orbit 3DM Manage and Extract.
Install ContextInsights

Verify ContextInsights Settings > Configuration > GPU AI compatibility > “Your computer can run AI jobs.”
If not update or install a new GPU driver.
Install Phyton

Advised customized installation directory: C:\Programs\Python39
Add "ContextInsights" Environment Variables for Phyton
Add new “ContextInsights” User Variables matching your Phyton installation directory.
Go to “Edit environmental variables for your account”
Add new user variables
Name:
CONTEXT_INSIGHTS_VENV
, Value:
C:\Programs\Python39\venv

Name:
CONTEXT_INSIGHTS_PYTHON
, Value:
C:\Programs\Python39

Create "ContextInsights" Virtual Environment for Phyton
Execute batch file
C:\Program Files\Bentley\ContextInsights\sdk\context_insights\create_venv.bat
Verify the message “Successfully installed ccmasterkernel-10.20.1.5563 wheel-0.38.4” towards the end.
Add Detectors
Detectors can be added on-the-fly.
Get "ContextInsights" Detectors

Open Orbit 3DM Manage and Extract > Preferences > Insights / ContextInsights
Set the root directory of unzipped detectors
