Orbit Publisher CONNECT Migration from Orbit Legacy

Follow the steps to migrate the Orbit-licensed 3DM Publisher configuration to the CONNECT version.

• Stop the Bentley Orbit 3DM Publisher Service
  ../server/program/bin64 > ServiceStop.bat (Run as administrator)

Copy and replace the following folders/files:

• <publisher_folder>/server/program/services/publisher_3dm
• <publisher_folder>/server/program/system/connections.xml

Into

• D:\Bentley\Orbit 3DM Publisher Service Data

Copy additional configuration files into the corresponding folders of the new installation:

• Storage configuration : <publisher_folder>/server/program/config
• Cross domain communication : <publisher_folder>/server/program/wwwroot/crossdomain.xml
• HTTP Proxy : copy the proxy configuration from <publisher_folder>/server/program/bin/ServiceInstall.bat. Do not copy the complete file.
• HTTPS : <publisher_folder>/server/program/services/http
• Port allocation : <publisher_folder>/server/program/services/http
• Procrun service : copy the Procrun configuration from <publisher_folder>/server/program/bin/ServiceInstall.bat. Do not copy the complete file.
• WMS and WFS hosting : <publisher_folder>/server/program/services/wfs

• Start the Bentley Orbit 3DM Publisher Service
  ../server/program/bin64 > ServiceStart.bat (Run as administrator)
• Verify started “Bentley Orbit 3DM Publisher Service”
  Operating System Services > Status of “Bentley Orbit 3DM Publisher Service” should be “Running”
