This page documents the 3DM Viewer Settings.

Option to reverse the direction of zooming when using the mouse wheel.
Default settings (switch icon is disabled): Push away to zoom out
The focus position is displayed in all view with a green cross.
The hover position is displayed in all views with a red cross.
Allows picking the ground height value by clicking in one of the 3D views.
The value is used for displaying 2D resources and is calculated as follows:
Change the geocoding service used in the viewer.
Set the position of the Sidebar, the Viewer Menu is placed at the opposite side of the Viewer.
Set the position of the viewer menu to the left or right.
Set the position of the viewer menu to the center or left.
The Synchronize Settings enable the auto-update the position and orientation of one View based on the changing position and orientation of another View. The auto-updated View(s) will try to copy the position, orientation, and/or focus coordinate of the View it is synchronizing with.
Auto-update the other Individual Views based on an Individual View.
Auto-update all Individual Views based on the Reference View.
Auto-update Reference View based on an Individual View.
Enable/disable the display of the resource type in the resource sidebar.
Display certain resources in one or more specific views. The buttons with the numbers or R (for reference view) are displayed in the Resources Sidebar under the name of each resource.
Enable the display of vector resources on the Reference View.
Enable selecting multiple basemaps in the basemap selection menu.
Add the action to download images or pointcloud to the view action menu. Available when the download setting is enabled in the publication setup.
Add the action to focus all views on the current viewpoint. This is a one-time action.
Display the wind direction to which the views are aimed.
The label is displayed under the view action menu.
Display the base map in the 3D view(s). The base map appears on the Reference Ground Height.
Add 3D rendering to the base map. The z-values used for this are based on the chosen terrain model.
Choose from different stereo techniques to display the 3D View.
Display the Point Cloud on the image in the view modes.
This can also be changed in the Resources Sidebar.
Display the timestamp related to the opened in the view mode.
Display the photo id related to the opened image in the view mode.
Add the Sequence arrows to the View Mode Menu. Navigate through the planar or spherical images via the arrows or hitting the up and down arrow in the active view.
Retrieve the list of alternative images when moving or adding a new image view.
Option to make the play-through option visible in the View Mode Menu. The view mode will jump from one image to the next one automatically when the play-through is started.
Options to adjust the view depth visibility of the point cloud and vector resources on the spherical and MM Planar image view (distance from the photo position).
Option to choose if planar images should always face being rotated north up in the Planar View Mode.
When enabled, a new planar image will be opened in the Planar View Mode if the current image is dragged to the side. Drag to the left and a new planar image that is located on the right of the current image will be opened.
Options to adjust the view depth visibility of the point cloud and vector resources on the planar image view (distance from the photo position).
Choose the desired technique used for measurements.
Information about the measure techniques:
Set the minimum and maximum value of the radius of the circle around the cursor in which point cloud points are searched to use for measurements.
Allows selecting a CRS for displaying measurement results.
By default WGS84 will be used, additionally, point measurement results can be displayed in the CRS of any resource included in the publication or one that is specified in the set-up of the publication.
Display Units of Relative Measurements
Allows selecting meter, foot or yards as measuring unit.
If a Start and Stop date is defined in the Resource Specs, the Timeline functionality allows to show the added resources grouped on a Timeline.
View - Workspace: A Timeline will be shown on each View, or one for the full workspace.
Day, Week, Month, Year: Resources will be grouped on the Timeline per Day, Week, Month or Year.
Parent, Children: Resources will be grouped using the Date settings of the Resource Group = Parent, or the single resources inside the group = children.
