Prepare Viametris MM Resources

This page describes the Viametris mobile mapping resources resources for Orbit.
Using the according Orbit Import Templates the described resources can be imported into Orbit.

It is strongly recommend to read first Concepts of Mobile Mapping and UAS data in Orbit.

• Image type : Ladybug 5, equirectangular panoramas.
• Image resolution : Ratio 2×1, e.g. 8192×496 pixels.
• File format : Each image is one *.jpeg file.
• File name : Image[xxxxxx].jpeg
• Folder structure : All files in one folder.

• File format : One ascii *.xyz file.
• File structure Rows : Each image is one record.
• File structure Columns : Space separated (char32), no headers, with following order
  Timestamp, Long/X, Lat/Y, Z, Rxx, Rxy, Rxz, Ryx, Ryy, Ryz, Rzx, Rzy, Rzz, 0, IndexIm
• Value of Coordinates : any supported coordinate system can be used, Long/Lat order for geographical coordinates, decimal notation, without thousands separator.
