In the 'GPS Photography' tab, imported GPS photos can be selected, viewed, edited and inventorised. All imported GPS photos are added to the 'GPS Photos' dataset and visualised on map as an arrow. Additional photos from a GPS camera can be imported.
A GPS photo contains the following properties:
The GPS Photography procedure “Import photos” allows the Orbit user to import new GPS photos.
GPS Photos can be selected in two ways:
Selection on the MapCanvas
Accordingly the GPS photo is selected in the GPS Photography tab.
Selection from the GPS Photography tab
For viewing selected GPS photos in the gray box, some handlers and tools are provided:

Maximize | Maximize the selected GPS photo within the gray box. | |

Save | Save the GPS photo in a folder on your local computer. | |
Focus | Center the location of the GPS photo in the MapCanvas. | |
Show | Show the GPS photo in an external viewer. |
Inventory | ||

Add to Inventory | Start inventory procedure and keep the GPS photo in list. | |
Add and remove photo | Start inventory procedure and remove the GPS photo from list. | |
Remove without adding to inventory | Delete the GPS photo without inventorising. | |
Edit photo properties | ||
Update TAG to | Select a TAG type and click the 'Update TAG to' button. | |
Update position | Click 'Update position' and drag the arrow around in the MapCanvas. | |
Update orientation | Click 'Update orientation' and adjust the orientation of the arrow. | |
Place | In case no position and orientation are provided, 'Place' is enabled to set these. |
