====== AI-Detection: 2D Segmentation (Cracks) ======


This page is about AI-Detection jobs. It describes how to leverage an AI-Detector to automatically detect regions in JPG images. AI-Detection will create masks overlaying each image of the Mapping Resource and featuring the classes of interest.\\

==== Step by step ====

  * Log-in Bentley IMS and Accept.

  * Set in Extract > AI-Detection.

  * Choose a Mapping Resource on-boarding JPG images in original folder (planars or panoramas)

  * Set the Detector parameters on Image / 2D Segmentation and choose appropriate AI-Detector from AI-Library (if no AI-Detector available, please refer to [[recordings:tutorials:videos:ai_library|]])

  * Press Start Now

  * Results must then be imported to be reviewed in images\\

  * Set in Extract / Image Annotation Editor / Preferences\\ Make sure Segmentation - Display on Views is enabled
