====== Toolbox : OID Indexer ======

Use this tool to create a vector index of an OID image file.

===== OID Files =====

OID files facilitate the access of arrays of image data. A Flat OID creates a fast-access index to imagery, while a MR OID add multiresolution layers. In each case, there is one or more levels of imagery data (resolution levels) tiling up an area of imagery.

This tool creates a vector dataset for each multiresolution layer of the OID file.

Select an OID file. Then specify a target vector file **without** extension.

Choose the storage format and click Go.

There will be as many vector files created as there are multiresolution levels in the OID file. Each vector file will have a mr-level suffix (mr0, mr1, mr2, ...). The vector files will have an attribute containing the filename of the tile.

The according legend labels the image filename.
