===== Properties Window =====

The Dataset Properties Window shows all you have to know or wish to alter about a resource as a whole. You can access different items through the tabs.

Open Dataset Properties window :
  * from menu : Dataset > Dataset Properties...
  * right-click menu in Dataset List : right-click dataset > Dataset Properties...
  * with sort keys : Ctrl+Shift-P
 
==== General ====

Use this tab to view or edit some general information about the dataset,
  * User and unique name
  * Format (ovf, omi, shp , ...) and type (points, lines, area, image or mixed)
  * Scale range limits

==== Contents ====

Use this tab to view or edit the structural content of the dataset and to define linked databases. \\

==== Legends and Labeling ====

Shows the way the data is graphically displayed on the map view :
  * specifies the graphical appearance of your data,
  * specifies colors and symbols to the spatial content of the data,
  * specifies labels represent attribute values that can be put on top.

==== Attribute Table View ====

Shows the descriptive data element of the resource. \\
