====== Legend Editor : Basic Appearance ====== Open the Legend Editor Basic Appearance * from menu : Datasets > Legend Editors... > Basic Appearance * right-click menu in the Dataset List : right-click dataset > Legend Editor... > Basic Appearance Choose the Model for which you want to edit the Legend. The displayed graphic parameters are in correspondence with the Spatial Type of the chosen Model. ===== Points ===== When the Spatial Type is a Point, a symbol is used as graphic appearance. Symbols can be vector, text or image-based. In Orbit, symbols are chosen from a Symbol Library and specifications such as color and size are set. To define symbols, check out the chapter about Symbol Libraries. Colors are irrelevant for image-based symbols. ^ Parameter ^ Use to ^ | Symbol Library | Select a symbol library | | Name | Select a Symbol from the symbol library | | Symbol Size | Enter a symbol size and select a size unit (point on screen, mm on paper, meter on scale) | | Symbol Fill Color | Choose a fill color for filled symbols | | Symbol Outline Color | Choose an outline color for the symbol outline | | Transparency | Set the transparency percentage of the symbol from opaque to completely transparent | Click on the "Edit All Parameters" button to edit all_symbol_parameters. ===== Lines ===== ^ Parameter ^ Use to ^ | Line Visibility | Tick to activate the line visibility and show lines in the map view | | Line Color | Choose a line color | | Line Width | Enter a line width and select a size unit (point on screen, mm on paper, meter on scale) | | Line Style | Select a 43:orbitgis:datasets:properties:legend:parameters:line_style | | Style Length | Enter a 43:orbitgis:datasets:properties:legend:parameters:style_length and select a size unit (point on screen, mm on paper, meter on scale) | Click on the "Edit All Parameters" button to edit all_line_parameters. ===== Areas ===== ^ Parameter ^ Use to ^ | Fill Area | Tick to activate the area fill visibility and show filled areas in the map view | | Fill Color | Choose a fill color for areas | | Fill Transparency | Set the transparency percentage of the fill color from opaque to completely transparent | | Outline settings | Identical settings as for a Line | \\ Click on the "Edit All Parameters" button to edit all_area_parameters. ===== Color and Grayscale Image ===== For Color and Greyscale images : ^ Parameter ^ Comment ^ | Image Transparency | Set the transparency percentage of the whole image from opaque to completely transparent | | Transparent Color Use | Tick to activate the use of a transparent color in the image | | Transparent Color | Choose a transparent color | | Transparent Color Margin | Enter the acceptable deviation of the transparent color (0-255) | | Sharpen Image | See Wikipedia Unsharp masking | | Grayscale | Set the color image to grayscale | Image Adjustment : ^ Parameter ^ Comment ^ | Brightness | Set the image brightness.
