====== Monitor Memory Use ====== {{monitor.gif}} With the button 'Probe', you can ask the EOS Console to monitor the current memory use. The window shows the used section and the free section of the allocated memory. Also the maximum amount of memory that can be allocated is presented. Every resource from the EOS is listed. A resource can be in one of three states: - Unloaded: the resource is not in memory - Loaded: the resource is in memory - Autoread: the EOS will never load this resource in memory because this would take to much space. Instead, the dataset is read directly from disk. This method is used for images and tiled vector formats. With the buttons 'Save Data' and 'Unloaded', all resources can be saved or removed from memory at once.
