Merging is the GIS operation that creates a new single dataset based on two input datasets.

**Merge Models** \\
Models of the two input datasets will be merged. If they fit exactly, choose option "Exact Attribute Match". If they aren't exactly the same, choose the option "Best Fit".

**Add Models** \\
Models from the input datasets will be added to the merged datasets. Pay attention, some vector formats don't support more than one dataset models, see:   [[234:technology:supported_formats:vector:ovf|Vector Data Structure]]

====Convert====
Press "Start" to merge the datasets.
