====== Style length ====== The style length has a reflection on the [[227:desktop:dataset:legend:parameters:line_style|line style]]. It is the distance for one times the line style. For example: Line Style: Long short short and Style Length: 20 Unit on scale, one times "long short short" wil be divided over 20 meters on scale. {{stylelength.png?nolink}} **Note:** If the line style is NONE, SOLID or PARALLEL, the Style Length has no influence. \\ ===== Style length vs Line Width / Length of the line ===== Depending on the Line Width and/or the Length of the line, the chosen Line Style may appear **invisible**! \\ The following examples may clarify this: ^ Line Width | Size Unit: Unit on scale (meters) \\ Line Style: Long_short_short \\ Style Length: 4 \\ Lenth of the line: 8 meters \\ Cap Type: **Square** | {{stylelength_width.png?nolink}} | ^ ::: | Size Unit: Unit on scale (meters) \\ Line Style: Long_short_short \\ Style Length: 4 \\ Lenth of the line: 8 meters \\ Cap Type: **Butt** | {{stylelength_width_butt.png?nolink}} | ^ Length of the line | Size Unit: Unit on scale (meters) \\ Line Width: 0.1 \\ Line Style: Long_short_short \\ Style Length: **7** | {{stylelength_length.png?nolink}} | \\ More information about the Basic Appearance for lines, see [[227:desktop:dataset:legend:parameters:all_line|]].
