====== General Settings ====== This page documents the 3DM Viewer General Settings. \\ ===== Viewer ===== **Style:** Choose to your preference the layout style. When choosing Browser, the style settings of your browser will be used.\\ **Highlight color:** Choose a layout color for the Viewer. \\ **Show Focus Position:** The focus position is displayed in all views with a green cross. \\ **Show Hover Position:** The hover position is displayed in all views with a red cross. \\ **Reference Ground height:** Allows picking the ground height value by clicking in one of the 3D views. \\ The value is used for displaying 2D resources and is calculated as follows: * On any image view: Z coordinate of the photo position viewpoint minus the height offset of the camera above ground, see [[2210:desktop_ext:mapping:manage:runs_version|Orbit run configuration]]. * 3D point cloud view: Z coordinate of the 3D viewpoint downwards intersection with the point cloud. This technique will only be used if no image view has been opened. **Sidebar Position:** Set the position of the Sidebar. **View Menu Position** Set the position of the view action menu to the center top, left top or left middle of each view. ===== Search ===== **Geocoding Service:** Change the [[2210:viewer:menu:search|geocoding service]] used in the viewer. * Available for everyone: Bing, Google * Available for users based in Belgium: Geopunt * Available for users based in The Netherlands: PDOK **Linear Reference Dataset:** Select the linear reference dataset to be used for search and focus to a specific distance along the dataset. ===== Resources ===== **Show Resource Type:** Enable/disable the display of the resource type in the resource sidebar. \\ **Set resource visibility by view:** Display certain resources in one or more specific views. The buttons with the View ID numbers or R (for reference view) are displayed in the Resources Sidebar under the name of each resource. ===== Reference View ===== **Display Annotations:** Enable the display of 3D annotations on the Reference View.\\ **Display Image Resources:** Enable the display of ortho image resources on the Reference View.\\ **Display Mesh Resources:** Enable the display of Mesh resources on the Reference View.\\ **Display Pointcloud Resources:** Enable the display of point cloud resources on the Reference View.\\ **Clip Pointcloud by Height of Active View:** If point cloud resources are displayed on the reference view, the point clouds can be clipped by the height of the active view (indicated by the white highlighted frame) **Display Vector Resources:** Enable the display of vector resources on the Reference View.\\ **Allow Multiple Basemaps:** Enable selecting multiple basemaps in the basemap selection menu.\\ **Allow Overzoom:** \\
