====== Open Image or 3D View from Map ======

This page describes how to open one or more image views from the Map 2D or Map 3D.

The "Open View" function, operated by the left mouse button, makes it possible to open one ore more mobile mapping views by indicating a position on the Map. \\ 
The behavior of this single function is slightly different depending the context of use, in order to open directly the view you need :
  - the used map component (Map 2D, Map 3D),
  - the combination of available mapping resources (panorama, planar, point cloud) and 
  - the visibility and status of the mapping measure functions (measure use point cloud true or false).

The active "Open View" function is indicated as "Place Point" in the [[2210:desktop:map:statusbar|map status bar]] and the appearance of the mouse pointer as "Cross" when hovering above the map. A newly openend view is always opened with a field of view equal to 90 degrees.

** Close one view ** \\
To close a single mapping view hover above and click on its reference number in the mapping view sidebar. \\

** Close all views** \\
Close all views via the corresponding "Close all" button in the mapping view top toolbar. \\
