====== 3D Mapping Data Preparation and Import Templates ====== This page contains the ready-to-use Orbit 3D mapping import templates and overviews on how to prepare your data for import. \\ It is recommended to read first [[209:technology:3d_mapping:supported_resources|]] and [[209:technology:3d_mapping:about_resources|]]. ===== Concepts ===== A set of data can be imported in Orbit as a [[209:technology:3d_mapping:about_resources|Mobile Mapping, Aerial]] or [[209:technology:3d_mapping:about_resources_oblique|Oblique]] run. \\ Depending the combination of the supported mapping resources (influenced by the vendor, post processing software, carrier set-up, available data and other specifications) the data should be imported in a different way.
