====== Manage Groups ====== This page describes how to use to desktop procedures to manage and open your Groups : * Create Group * Edit Group * Remove Group * Open Group * Close Group It is strongly recommended to read first [[209:technology:3d_mapping:about_resources|]]. ===== Create Group ===== **Create new groups** Create a new group from the list with available runs. Filer by name and use and button to select multiple runs which use the same template. By default, for all Orbit desktop products, the groups are saved in: AppData\Local\Orbit\\mobile_mapping\projects . For all server products, by default the user chooses the location. This setting can be customized from : \program\services\ext_mobile_mapping\properties.ini {{orbitgis:how_to_find.png?25&nolink |}} Procedures > Administration > Aerial, Mobile or Oblique Mapping > Create Group ===== Edit Group ===== **Update the list of combined Runs** The "Edit Group" procedure can only be used by the administrator to update the opened group. This procedure will be disabled if no group is loaded. {{orbitgis:how_to_find.png?25&nolink |}} Procedures > Administration > Aerial, Mobile or Oblique Mapping > Edit Group ===== Remove Group ===== **Remove a Group, no runs will be deleted** Any of the combined runs nor the original data will be removed. \\ The group will be deleted and removed from the drop-down list with available groups. It will no longer be available to users and operators from the "Open Group" procedure. {{orbitgis:how_to_find.png?25&nolink |}} Procedures > Administration > Aerial, Mobile or Oblique Mapping > Remove Group - **Select** Group - Choose a group from the drop-down list with available groups. - Click the button "Remove Group" to delete the selected group from the list with available groups. - **Finish** the procedure ===== Open Group ===== **Open a group to view your data** The "Open Group" procedure can be used by users, operators and administrators to open a listed group. \\ When using Orbit Client-Server, permissions and access to open a group must be set by the Orbit administrator. {{orbitgis:how_to_find.png?25&nolink |}} Procedures > Aerial, Mobile or Oblique Mapping > Open Group - **Select** Group - Choose a group from the drop-down list with available groups. \\ Filter the opened drop-down list via keyboard entries. - Click the button "Open group" to load the selected group. \\ The Map will zoom to the extents of the opened group.
