===== Concepts =====

The "Contour Lines" extension makes it possible to create a dataset with contour lines from a point cloud dataset.

Contour lines area lines at the same Z level.
===== Source =====

Use the generic workflow for [[201:desktop_ext:generic|]] to define the source file. 

The method for the range of interest is 'Area'.

The consecutive vertical distance between the contour lines (in meters).

=== Filter point cloud ===

Filter out points from the point cloud to create the contour lines. 

=== Level ===

The level at which points are filtered.
