====== MM Data Preparation and Import Templates ====== This page gives an overview on the Orbit mobile mapping import templates and how to prepare your data for import. \\ It is strongly recommended to read first [[180:technology:3d_mapping:about_resources|]]. Orbit imports [[180:technology:3d_mapping:supported_resources|Supported Mobile Mapping Data]] into Orbit Mobile Mapping Runs using intelligent Import Templates. An **Orbit import template** is a predefined set configurations, containing all technical details of the mobile mapping system. A template is exactly configured according a given vehicle setup, used sensors and available resources. This technique simplifies and standardizes the workflow to import a well known set of mobile mapping resources. ===== Add Template to Orbit ===== Generic Import Templates are by default available. \\
