====== Prepare UAS Data using Agisoft ====== After processing your UAS project using Agisoft software, you have created the following datasets: * a Dense Point Cloud * an Orthomosaic Hereby the steps to prepare and export your project for input in Orbit UAS. ==== Export Dense Point Cloud ==== File > Export Points ... - To create a las file select the method 'Export Points...' in the 'File' menu. \\ This opens a file selection window. - After providing a directory and filename, save the las file by pressing the 'Save' button. ==== Export Orthomosaic ==== Although the use of the ortho is not necessary to create an Orbit Run, you find here a short description to export the ortho and to convert it further to the omi-format. File > Export Orthomosaic - Select 'Export Orthomosaic' in the 'File'-menu and select 'Export JPG/TIFF/PNG' to open the 'Export Orthomosaic' dialog. - Keep the standard settings but take special care about the Coordinate System and Pixel size. - Then press the 'Export...' button at the bottom of the dialog. - After entering a name and selecting a directory, start the Orthomosaic creation process by pressing the 'Save' button. Convert the Orthomosaic file into omi format to make it easiliy available in 'Orbit US Mapping' taking multiresolution and image compression into account, creating a fast view access. This is done using functionality in the 'Orbit UAS Mapping' software. \\ See further detailed information on how to convert in [[https://orbitgt.com/kb/170/desktop/tools/convert_data|https://orbitgt.com/kb/170/desktop/tools/convert_data]] ==== Export the undistorted images ==== Tools > Export > Undistort Photos - Select 'Export' in the 'Tools'-menu, and select the method 'Undistort Photo's ...'. - Keep the standard setting.
