[[112:photogrammetry:strabo:project:create:projectwizard|{{ orbit_desktop:return_overview.png|Return to Overview - Project Wizard}}]] ====== Project Wizard - Step 1: project settings ====== {{photogrammetry:strabo:project:create:projectwizard:project_step1a.png?nolink|}} \\ \\ In this dialog the following project parameters need to be specified: * __**Project Description**__: define a name for the project (you are obliged to enter a project name). \\ \\ * __**Project Type**__: select wether the project is a project with vertical photography (parallel camera axes), or with terrestrial photography (oblique). \\ Differences between the two types may be obvious, but the software also behaves differently.\\ \\ The table below defines the differences:
^ Vertical Project Type ^ Terrestrial Project Type ^ | Selecting a stereo model is done using a automatic created grid that is oriented in the orientation of the main flight direction. The software will always select two images next to each other, as close to the given position of the mouse.\\ The grid helps also to check if the two images are located in the same strip. | Selecting a model is done by selecting two images in a list, without bothering if the images are located at a base distance from each other, like is normal in a Vertical project.\\ It is possible to select any two images of your choice to create a model. There will be no check whether these images are nicely found next to each other in a grid. | | In the image detail dialog used for measuring tiepoints and fiducial marks, the images are rotated in function of the given Kappa values in relation to the main flight direction.(See the 'NR' or 'R' displayed in the header of the dialog) | The images will never be rotated. You will see always an 'NR' (Not Rotated) label in the header if the image detail dialogs. | | If the images come from a digital camera, the width and height in the photo settings editor are rotated in function of the Kappa value of the image. | The width and height in the photo settings will never be rotated | | When a stereo model is selected the stereo viewer will always put the floating mark on the projects ground height and at the middle of the model at the photoscale. | When a stereo model is selected, the stereo viewer will put the floating mark on the gravity point of the available ground control points at photoscale. If the project contains no ground control points than the floating mark will be put in the middle of the model also at the photoscale. | |
