Below the documentation for Orbit desktop standalone. ** Workspace ** \\ Manage your current workspace ** Composite Resource ** \\ Open all resources grouped by an [[112:technologies:resources:other:ocr|Orbit Composite Resources]] (*.ocr) as new workspace or save your current workspace [[112:orbit_desktop:datasetlist:index|dataset list]] as an OCR. ** Export ** \\ Print to paper, export to image file or copy to clipboard of the current map view, as is. ** Exit ** \\ Close Orbit and release your current license use. The application is closed correctly as well using window application close button from the right upper corner. ===== Inspector ===== Open the Object Inspector, see [[112:orbit_desktop:inspector:object:index|]]. ===== Preferences ===== Open the preferences window, see [[112:orbit_desktop:preferences:index|]]. ===== Save all ===== Save the spatial and attribute component of all edited datasets. The legend (layout) component is not saved by this functions. ===== Print ===== Opens the print dialogue of your operating system's default printer to print the current map view as is. \\ If you would like to customize your print use the [[112:orbit_desktop:map:layout|Layout view]]. When starting a print job, Orbit will generate a map view as specified by your printer settings. This may result in large dataset request and large print file to be sent. Make sure your hardware and network is capable to handle the print job, see [[112:orbit_desktop:workspace:print|]]. Printer manufactures may advise on the hardware configurations on how to optimize a print job.
