Any [[111:technologies:resources:supported_formats#Image Data|supported image file]] (jpeg, jp2, omi, bmp, ecw, gif, png, tiff, ... ) can be used. \\
Default format for direct import is *.jpg or *.tif but other supported formats can be converted before import using the [[111:orbitgis:tools:additional:convert_image|Orbit convert tool]].
