====== Data Preparation and Import Templates ====== This page gives an overview on the Orbit oblique mapping import templates and how to prepare your data for import. * It is strongly recommended to read first : [[111:oblique_mapping:about_oblique_resources|]]. * An overview of all supported mobile mapping resources, see [[111:oblique_mapping:supported_resources|]]. Orbit imports oblique data into an Orbit Oblique Project using intelligent import templates. \\ \\ An **Orbit import template** is a predefined set configurations, containing all technical details of the oblique mapping system. A template is exactly configured according a given setup, used sensors and available resources. This technique simplifies and standardizes the workflow to import a well known set of oblique resources. \\ ===== Add your Template to Orbit ===== Only the generic Orbit import templates are included in a clean Orbit installation. \\ Download and add your preferred templates : - Download the required template below. - Unzip and copy the parent template folder to : * Desktop Standalone : /program/ext/obliques/project/template/ * Desktop Client/Server or Publisher : client/program/ext/oblqiues/project/template/ - Restart Orbit to get access to the newly copied template, [[111:oblique_mapping:desktop:core:manage_import:index|]] \\ ===== Generic Templates ===== |< 100% 15% 25% 24% 9% 27% >| ^ Company ^ Prepare ^ Data ^ [[111:technologies:crs:crs_orbit|CRS]] ^ Download ^ | Generic | [[111:oblique_mapping:desktop:core:manage_import:generic|]] | Photo positions, DTM (optional) | projected | Default inside software | Orbit supports any coordinate system (crs) for photo positions.\\ The generic import templates are prepared for WGS84 coordinates (geographical, decimal notation, EPSG 4326). Depending your oblique camera system or configuration, the outcome may be different from WGS84 (e.g. UTM). The used crs is defined via the import template and can be customized if required. \\ ===== Vendor Adapted Templates ===== |< 100% 15% 25% 24% 9% 27% >| ^ Company ^ Prepare ^ Data ^ [[111:technologies:crs:crs_orbit|CRS]] ^ Download ^ | [[http://www.visionmap.com/en/products/a3-overview/a3-lightspeed|VisionMap]] | [[111:oblique_mapping:desktop:core:manage_import:visionmap]] | Merged oblique frames (*.ecw), dtm | any | {{:oblique_mapping:desktop:core:manage_import:visionmap_ecw.zip|}} | | ::: | ::: | Merged oblique frames (*.tif), dtm | any | {{:oblique_mapping:desktop:core:manage_import:visionmap_tif.zip|}} | | [[http://trackair.com/|TrackeAir - Midas]] | [[111:oblique_mapping:desktop:core:manage_import:prepare_midas|]] | 4 cameras, DTM | projected | {{aerodata_midas.zip|}} | | [[http://www.cicade.com/|Cicade]] | [[111:oblique_mapping:desktop:core:manage_import:cicade|]] | 4 cameras, DTM | projected | {{cicade_p65.zip|}} | \\ ===== Create Your own template ===== In addition to the above listed templates the Orbit engine offers all configuration possibilities to customize the import for using any combination of supported oblique mapping resources. Once the configuration is known, it can be added as new import template to extremely simplify all future imports. Please contact sales at orbitgt dot com to request assistance for creating your own customized templates.
