===== Use Symbol Library to visualize Point Annotations=====

In order to visualize [[110:orbitgis:tools:annotation:sidebar#new_annotations|Annotation Points]], available [[110:orbitgis:datasets:legend:parameters:symbol_library|Symbol Libraries]] can be used.

  - create or select a point annotation
  - open the point annotation's properties
  - select a symbol library (e.g. traffic signs/verkeersborden)
  - apply

===== Merge Annotations=====

In order to merge multiple annotation files, a conversion to [[110:technologies:resources:vector:ovf|ovf]] is required:

  - rename the oaf-files to ovf (e.g. annotation.oaf => annotation.ovf)
  - [[110:orbitgis:tools:editing:topics#go_and_multiply|copy]] all objects to one single ovf file. Make sure every object is copied to it's [[110:orbitgis:tools:editing:overview|corresponding model]].
  - rename the ovf-file to oaf. Note that the original annotation appearance is retained.
