====== Map 2D Pan Functions ======

The Pan function makes it possible to move the Map 2D to get the map view of your preference. \\
A single pan moves the map center but will not change the map zoom or rotation.

==== Pan via Click and Drag on Map ====

Free pan function on map :
    * Click and Drag to move the Map 
    * Single click on the Map to center the view to the clicked location
    * Pan function + <Ctrl> will behave as [[110:orbitgis:mapcanvas:navigation:zoom|Zoom Smart]].

==== Pan via Compass Rose ====

Pan in fixed direction by using one of the four direction arrows of the [[110:orbitgis:mapcanvas:navigation:compass_rose|Compass Rose]]. The current map view will shift by 1/4.

==== Pan via Map Context Menu ====

Center map view via the Map 2D right click [[110:orbitgis:mapcanvas:map:context_menu|Map Context Menu]] to the clicked location
