====== Installation of Orbit MM Publisher ======

The Orbit Mobile Mapping Publisher contains : 
  * Orbit EOS Server
  * Orbit Mobile Mapping Publishing (server side extension)
  * Orbit desktop client
  * Orbit Mobile Mapping & Catalog (client side extension)

===== Steps for installation =====

  - Hardware and OS check \\ Check of hardware and operating system specifications and requirements :

    * Administrator privileges are required
  - Download and Install
    * Download and unzip the installation package (300 MB zipfile - download link upon request)
    * Install and Start the Orbit Service : [[110:eos:concepts:service|]]
  - Software activation
    * License request and activation via the EOS Console : [[110:eos:console:license:index|EOS Console > License]]
  - Configuration on demand
	
===== Steps for update =====

  - Download and Install
    * Download and unzip the update files (zipfile - download link upon request)
    * Stop and Remove the Orbit Service : [[110:eos:concepts:service|]]
    * Backup client/program and server/program directories
    * Add or Replace (do not merge!) the following folders
      * replace the "software" directory : \\ <Orbit Installation folder>/client/program \\ <Orbit Installation folder>/server/program 
      * add the "api/<version>" directory : \\ <Orbit Installation folder>/server/program/wwwroot/api 
      * replace the "eosconsole" directory : \\ <Orbit Installation folder>/server/program/wwwroot/ 
    * Install and Start the Orbit Service
  - Software activation \\ Licenses can be retained on minor updates, a new license will be required on mayor updates.
  - Re-Publish and view Publications
