| ====== Open Mobile Mapping View from Map 2D ====== {{orbitgis:how_to_find.png?25&nolink |}} Tabs > Mobile Mapping > Select {{pano_selectpano.png?nolink |}} Click the **Select** button (from the [[110:mobile_mapping:desktop:mobile_mapping:use:index|Mobile Mapping top toolbar]]) and **Click a position** or **Click and Drag** on the [[110:orbitgis:mapcanvas:index|MapCanvas]] to open an Image (Panorama / Planar) or 3D point cloud view inside the Mobile Mapping tab. When the **Select** button is clicked, **Place Point** will appear in the [[110:orbitgis:mapcanvas:statusbar|]] as activated function. As long as Place Point is active, all actions below can be performed. ===== Pan Mode vs Measure Mode ===== To open the desired view at once, some intelligent methods are implemented. The behavior is slightly different depending the activated function inside the Mobile Mapping tab : * Pan : The pan function is active. The cursor appears as **hand** when hovering above a Mobile Mapping View * Measure : The [[110:mobile_mapping:desktop:mobile_mapping:use:measure|Mobile Mapping measure window]] is opened or an [[110:mobile_mapping:desktop:asset_inventory:use:add_item_on_map|Asset Inventory Add Item procedure]] has been started. The cursor appears as **cross** when hovering above a Mobile Mapping View : * Measure using Point Cloud : the **Use point cloud** box is enabled. * Measure via Triangulation : the **Use point cloud** box is disabled. Below describes the actions in combination with pan or measure to open Mobile Mapping views from the [[110:orbitgis:mapcanvas:index|MapCanvas]].
