The Project File

What is a Project File

The project file '{Projectname}.spr' contains all the parameters for each photo of the project and is the basic file of a Strabo project.

Description of the Project File

The following information is available in the project file:

General information:

  • Name of the project.
  • Type of project (Vertical of Terrestrial)
  • Percentage overlap between the photographs.
  • Photoscale.
  • Pixelsize of scans expressed in micron.
  • Viewscale.
  • Average groundheight expressed in terrain coordinate units/1000.
  • A-priori standard deviation of the GCP's in X- and Y-direction expressed in terrain coordinate units.
  • A-priori standard deviation of the GCP's in Z-direction expressed in terrain coordinate units.
  • Grid distance for DEM in X-direction expressed in terrain coordinate units.
  • Grid distance for DEM in Y-direction expressed in terrain coordinate units.
  • Type of camera used, and all its camera parameters.

Information on each flight strip:

  • Number of the strip.
  • Flight number.

Information on each photograph:

  • Number of photograph.
  • Type of camera.
  • Image path.
  • X-coordinate projection center expressed in terrain coordinate units.
  • Y-coordinate projection center expressed in terrain coordinate units.
  • Z-coordinate projection center expressed in terrain coordinate units.
  • Rotation parameters Omega, Phi and Kappa expressed in RAD.
  • Image points.
  • Fiducial marks.

Information on each image point:

  • Name of image point.
  • X-coordinate expressed in image coordinates.
  • Y-coordinate expressed in image coordinates.

Information on each fiducial mark:

  • Name of fiducial mark.
  • X-coordinate expressed in image coordinates.
  • Y-coordinate expressed in image coordinates.
