Orbit GIS 4.3 Build History

Builds are listed in reversed chronological order (newest build on top).
If changes are applicable to only one platform, this will be noted.

Fixed :

• Pan function not working properly.

New :

• Dynamic positioning of labels
• Support for tiled maping services
• API for dynamic addition of attribute rule formulas

Improved :

• Database storage support for spatial datatypes

New :

• License Management : support for license distribution via the new Orbit License Server.

Fixed :

• Object Inspector : When selecting another object while editing an object attribute, the incorrect value was rendered.
• display error in various drop down selection lists and file selection dialogs (applies on WindowsXP only)

New :

• Added 'Print Series' wizard for serial printing of large area's in e.g. A3 or letter-size prints on a fixed scale. Print to device or to file including PDF.

Added :

• Automatic update check options.

New :

• Import & Geocode : txt, dbf and csv files can now be opened on the fly, by dragging and dropping them on top of the workspace, provided co-ordinate column headers can be auto-detected as 'X' and 'Y'.
• MrSID driver (windows only) : Added support for sid files produced with the latest version of MrSID.

Fixed :

• Tiff driver : Fixed a bug with tiff files containing a tag type 13 data block (sub-idf's)

Fixed :

• Find Objects : Find operation didn't execute when the legend was configured for direct legend editing.
• Keystrokes : Some keystrokes were executed twice when executed using a menuitem accelerator.
• Save : The “Save anyway” feature (saving a limited representation of a dataset) failed to operate when saving to ESRI shp format.
• Save : Saving a new dataset using the currently selected object in the object inspector didn't store the right model names.

Fixed :

• Updater : Extension update checks were incorrectly checking for updates of Orbit GIS.
• Print : The scalebar overlay was printed on an incorrect scale.

Fixed :

• Toolbox : The image convertor utility didn't operate properly.
