System Requirements
Orbit GIS, Orbit Explorer and Orbit Explorer Plus are supported on Mac starting from OS X 4.8, requiring Java 5 installed (standard available). To run Orbit GIS, get your latest OSX update from Apple and download Orbit GIS from this website.
Orbit GIS is tested on Tiger (10.4.8) up to Leopard (10.5.4).
Orbit GIS is tested on G5 & Intel Dual Core processors.
Look & Feel
Orbit GIS for Mac supports the Cocoa look & feel and is tuned to standard Mac user interaction. User feedback is welcomed on this.

OSX Local Installs
To simplify application updates, Orbit GIS for Mac is provided as App bundle. Personal parameters, extensions and other user data is stored in the /Library/OrbitGIS folder allowing updates to simply replace the App bundle.
