Orbit License To Use

All Orbit software (all products from the Orbit product families) are a Single Use License for both end users and developers. “Single Use License” means a license must be dedicated for each single computer or network access point that has use rights for the Software or Documentation. Licensee may make a backup copy for Licensee's exclusive use on a portable computer so long as only one (1) copy of the Software and Documentation is in use at any one (1) time. The purchase of the Orbit License Server can allow a single orgnisation to manage within their organisation only a concurrent-user-based licensing system for some or all Orbit products (depending on the individual product specifications).

Orbit Explorer (free version of Orbit GIS within the Orbit GIS product range) may be used freely according to the conditions set forth below.

The Generic License is amended by addition of the following:

Trademark Emblem License: Eurotronics grants Licensee a personal, nonexclusive, limited trademark license to use the “Orbit” and/or “Orbit Explorer” and/or “Powered By Orbit” trademark emblem under the terms set forth below for Licensee's own documentation and reproduction deliverables for so long as this Agreement is in effect.

Permitted Uses: Licensee may reproduce and redistribute the Orbit Explorer Software and Documentation provided all of the following occur:

1. The Orbit Explorer Software and Documentation are reproduced and redistributed in their entirety on Licensee's own deliverable
2. This Agreement and Eurotronics' General License Agreement accompanies each copy of the Orbit Explorer Software and Documentation, and the recipient agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions
3. All copyright and trademark attributions/notices are reproduced
4. There is no charge or fee attributable to the use and redistribution of the Orbit Explorer Software and Documentation. Licensee is bound not to charge its customers for supplying Orbit Explorer.
5. Current version of Orbit Explorer is free for reuse and distribution only when using the packaged product as downloadable from www.orbitgis.com and redistribution is registered on www.orbitgis.com. Orbit Explorer uses the embedded Orbit engine which is not free for reuse or distribution in any other way than bundled with Orbit Explorer and excluding any other use of the Orbit engine.
