The Orbit Engine comes with the Eurotronics NV implementation of LizardTech's MrSID Decoder SDK. End users are not permitted to alter this implementation. Implementation of the Orbit Resource Driver API is done at the sole risk and responsibility of the developer. Licensee and third parties are prohibited from segmenting the MrSID Decoder SDK out of the Orbit Engine.

The MrSID software is protected by United States Copyright Law and International Treaty provisions and by U.S. Patent No. 5,710,835. Foreign patents are pending.
