Orbit FlashMap is the internet publishing solution from Orbit, based on the EOS server with IOS extension. This off-the-shelf solution is ready to use for the web developer, aimed at fast deployment and easy use.
Some Features
Orbit FlashMap is developed in Macromedia Flash ™ and allows customising and extension development. Based on XML, requests are handled by IOS and executed by EOS, bringing all functionalities from EOS right to each internet user.
Publish to the Web
The EOS Console provides a Publish to the Web option that enables the IOS extension for serving data over the internet. It creates the WMS-capabilities file require for IOS to run.
The Orbit GIS Filemenu option 'Publish to the Web' provides swift and easy publishing of your data to the internet. It creates the configuration file required by Orbit FlashMap based on your current workspace. Internet publishing has never been easier !
