Select Objects

This page gives an overview on how to select objects from a vector dataset.

Review the selection preferences to define the Object selection mode : Active dataset only or all visible datasets.

On the MapCanvas	Through a Fence	Through a Buffer

Selected objects can be viewed, edited or exported :

• View and edit Attribute component : Object Inspector
• Edit Spatial component : 2D Edits
• Export selected objects via the Object Inspector.
• Export attributes : Select and Export Attributes
